February First Friday – Our Premier Gallery Show

Freedom_market_FLYER_correx_2013

Throughout the month of February you can stop by the Bean Cycle / Wolverine Farm Bookstore to see our premier gallery show. This show will feature the work of 13 local artists and a wide range of style and technique. It’s really going to be a lovely display!

Be sure to keep an eye on our blog over the next few days and into the month of February as we highlight each artist, their process and sneak peaks into their studios.

This art show is part of our series of markets & events featuring locally handmade goods, art, craft, and creative works. The idea is simple and grows first from a desire to create events where artists can support each other and work together. Second, Freedom Market events can only happen in a donated space, where there will be no fees for the artists to participate, in exchange for their time volunteering & working together to make the event happen.

We hope you will stop by our opening night to be held February 1st Friday from 5pm to 7pm at the Bean Cycle / Wolverine Farm Bookstore. The work will be on display throughout the month of February and contact information for each artist will be available if you’d like to purchase a piece of the show.

Thank you to the wonderful group of artists making this event happen and of course to the Bean Cycle & Wolverine Farm for the use of their space and continued support of Freedom Market’s efforts.

See the event on Facebook.

A huge thank you to InkPop Studios for the design and fabulous letterpress printing of the marketing pieces for the event.
