Steve left the urban bustle of a design career in Los Angeles for the unique charms of Fort Collins – and a new start as the man behind Ink Pop Studio Letterpress, where he creates vibrant, contemporary posters, art prints, and cards, as well as all manner of custom fine printing. His compact print shop contains a quirky mix of equipment, from a 105-year-old  press to drawers of vintage wood and metal fonts, stocks of ink and paper, an alarmingly massive century-old paper cutter – and an iMac.

“Letterpress offers a great creative range, from delicate sophistication to hillbilly-rustic, I can play with a lot of different flavors,” says Steve. “One new twist for me is creating large-scale block prints and solvent-transfer prints – taking my smaller Letterpress pieces, and expanding them into large, full-fledged, framable originals.”
