When TeDi Jansen from Small Acre Farm says her soaps and lotions are “handmade,” what she really means is that she gets up early each morning to feed and water her goats, which she then milks, herself, to provide the luxurious, moisturizing ingredients that she mixes into the soaps and lotions she makes in her own farm kitchen. Small Acre Farm, a family business, also maintains a small flock of sheep for fiber projects, made from felted wool and handspun yarn.
All in all, it’s hard to get more handmade or more local than than Small Acre Farm’s farm-to-market products, and we’re excited to have TeDi at this year’s market!
This year’s Freedom Market will be held on Saturday, December 10 at the Bean Cycle/Wolverine Farm Bookstore in Fort Collins, Colorado. The show runs from 9am until 3pm.
