Jennifer Tatroe of J.H. Tatroe Salvaged Book Goods make souvenirs for all the vacations you’ve taken between the covers of a book.
All of Jenn’s products are created from used books, acquired from library discards, used book sales, thrift stores, and secondhand bookshops. She seeks out mass-printed books in poor condition, in an effort to keep their stories alive for those who have read and loved them in the past.
J.H. Tatroe’s product line available at the Freedom Market includes holiday decor like wreaths and garland, folded book sculptures, and fine art pieces in which vintage hardcovers sprout magical flowers and foliage.
This year’s Freedom Market will be held on Saturday, December 10 at the Bean Cycle/Wolverine Farm Bookstore in Fort Collins, Colorado. The show runs from 9am until 3pm.
